MELANGE

"Don't be an Entrepreneur who just makes profit, be an Entrepreneur who creates a difference" 

 A good entrepreneur is that person who with the sight of a successful and profitable business takes care of the society, studies all the related aspects before launching a business, have backup plans & most importantly a positive attitude. We as young entrepreneurs of "MELANGE" took care of each and every aspect before starting the business in our school premises.

 How we got motivated to start the Business ?

 Students are the rising stars of our country. It is the student who will work for the upliftment of the society. The student of our school taught the vulnerable group for the “EACH ONE TEACH ONE” program in summer vacations. Students also interacted with elderly people in old age homes. In this globalizing world, we lost emotions towards each other. Our school took an extraordinary step for the emotional sensitization program for students to visit NGOs and to learn emotions, attachments, etc.. We realize that today's most vulnerable group is elderly people. So we came forward with an idea to start our own business, be young entrepreneurs so that we can earn and help these vulnerable groups but with the motive of profit which at the same time will increase our skills.

 How We Researched and Identified Our Business Opportunity   ?

 “A good entrepreneur always searches for a good business opportunity and exploits its profitably"

The customer survey was done by our research team. We created a questionnaire (printed and online) for students and parents. The survey had questions related to our product & our experiment trial, fun with educational games (to reduce CYBER ADDICTION AND CRIME) and Eco Crusaders (homemade products). The questionnaire also included some questions that analyzed how our customer's feel about us and we received overwhelming responses.

We Identified Our Competitiors 

 “A skilled Entrepreneur always keeps in mind about his competitors”

 With this idea in heart and mind we tried to find out the strengths and weaknesses of our competitors and we found some advantage which motivated us to be competitive.

• We are able to arrange a good amount of capital.
• Our marketing team is coming up with latest and innovative ideas for promoting our Business.
• Our entire team is creative and works in coordination keeping in mind about environment through minimum wastage using eco- friendly approach.
• We have enough space in our school for running our business,
• We have access to a well- established market which consist of 4000 students, parents and 400 staff members of our School.

        Challenges We Faced in Launching Our Business 

“ Risk is uncertain but the positive attitude should be permanent”

The inauguration of 'MELANGE' was planned on November 9,2019 but due to sudden holiday declared as per Govt. advisory we had to postponed it to November 13 ,2019. We suffered from both emotional as well as financial loss because we had done several arrangements for the chief guest and parents but we realized that an entrepreneur should have a positive attitude and we tied up our shoes because we knew that we have to work hard on  November 13 ,2019.

       Grand Inaugration Of 'MELANGE'

                         "There is only one boss- The Customer” 

On November 13, 2019 we inaugurated ‘MELANGE’ based on educational stalls in our school playground with a huge footfall of Parents, Students and Teachers. A good entrepreneur is a good communicator, creative, dedicated, sells goods at a reasonable price, has a good promotion strategy, takes care of health and hygiene and works for a noble cause. We followed all these qualities which boosted our confidence and we got successful results . 

                                 Forthcoming Plans

 We are planning to arrange more creative and Educational games and more innovative Eco- Friendly Products for our Customers. ‘MELANGE’  is being organised at regular intervals of time.
